About the project

Pathways to Creative Careers (P2CC) is a European cooperation partnership supported by the Erasmus+ programme. It responds to the challenges young people face in entering creative and cultural careers, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, where access to networks, training and opportunities is limited.

The project brings together organisations from five countries to investigate how mentoring and collective action can strengthen entry pathways into the creative sector. It looks at both one-to-one mentoring and group mentoring, testing how these approaches can help overcome barriers and support skills development.

Alongside this, P2CC is designing practical tools — such as a methodological framework, a career pathways model and digital training diagnostics — which will be made available for use by youth educators, mentors and organisations across Europe. These resources aim to connect research with practice and to provide evidence that can inform future policy and initiatives in the sector.

Project Partners

The partnership

P2CC is led by a partnership of creative and educational organisations in Sweden, Spain, North Macedonia, Italy and Croatia. Together, they combine expertise in mentoring, youth education and the creative industries, ensuring that perspectives from different contexts shape the project’s outcomes.

Get Involved

Get Involved

P2CC is designed as a collaborative process, and there are different ways to take part as the project develops. Educators, creative professionals, youth organisations and policy makers can engage by attending workshops, contributing to discussions, or piloting some of the resources that will be produced.

Throughout the project, opportunities will be created to share ideas and experiences across countries, whether through online exchanges, events or case studies. By getting involved, participants not only gain access to emerging tools and practices, but also contribute to shaping approaches that can strengthen pathways into the creative and cultural sectors in the future.
